We’re aiming for a comfortable yet stylish atmosphere, so dress code will be business casual or dressy casual. Think outfits you’d wear to a nice restaurant or event, with a touch of your own personality.
A Touch of the Forest:
To embrace our enchanted forest theme, we kindly ask if you could incorporate a hint of green into your attire. This could be anything from a green accessory to a patterned top with green accents.
Comfort is Key, Ladies!
Since the ceremony will be held outdoors on grass, we kindly recommend ditching the heels in favor of comfortable shoes. You’ll be free to move around, dance, and celebrate without worrying about sinking in!
The wedding location has very limited parking space so we ask everybody to park around the location instead.
The is a parking location at a nearby petting zoo (few minutes walking from the wedding location), you can walk across the little bridge, go right and walk until you are at the location. Ledeboerslaan 3, 7606 HS Almelo
It is a popular tradition in the Netherlands to do songs or a funny presentation about the couple on the wedding day. Adding to this are of course the speeches and wellwishes people might want to give.
We have, as you might see, a lot of people from a lot of different nationalities, who speak different languages.
To make our wedding inclusive for everyone, instead of speeches during the day, we want you to
send a video of up to 5 minutes per person to wedquestions@mail.com (not gmail) with your well wishes.
You are free to make a video together with a group.
We understand transportation needs may vary depending on your accommodations. Here’s how we can help:
As we celebrate our love, we wanted to incorporate a special element from Bulgarian culture: a traditional wedding dance! We’ve chosen the Pravo horo, a joyful and easy-to-learn folk dance perfect for getting everyone moving together.
Why the Pravo horo? This simple line dance is a cornerstone of Bulgarian celebrations, especially weddings. We wanted to share a piece of this tradition with you, our amazing guests, and create a fun moment for everyone to participate in.
This video is your guide! In a short and sweet lesson, you’ll learn the basic steps to join the Pravo horo.
Just one dance! We’ll be doing the Pravo horo once during the reception, so this is your chance to learn and join the celebration.
Don’t be shy! The Pravo horo is about enjoying the moment and sharing the joy. So grab your partner (or dance solo!), follow the video, and get ready to experience a taste of Bulgarian culture on the dance floor!
